CALLIGRAPHY PLAY-DATE

Two hours.

Ink on paper. Friendly humans doing the same thing.

Ever notice how much easier it is to practice when someone else is practicing too?

That’s the whole idea behind Play-Date Days.

And yes… they’re completely free.

We gather on Zoom, say hello, settle in, and spend two cozy hours working on our own calligraphy projects.

No teaching.

No pressure.

No awkward silence.

Just a room full of people making letters together.

Here’s how it works:

• 15 minutes — say hello and share what you're working on
• 35 minutes — quiet focused lettering time
• 10 minutes — stretch, chat, refill the tea
• 35 minutes — more beautiful focused work
• 15 minutes — share, celebrate, and compare ink stains

Bring whatever you’re working on.

Practice sheets. A class project. A half-finished flourish.

Or just curiosity.

Ever look at your lettering and feel like it’s missing something?

Perfect strokes and polished script, but it still looks incomplete?

Without borders, your beautiful work just floats—like a gourmet meal on a paper plate. It feels unfinished.

And clients notice.

Even pros with years of experience can look amateur without proper framing.

The fix?

Royal Borders—a system based on centuries-old calligraphy techniques used by royal court scribes.

But simplified and modernized for today’s artist.
